Scholarship Information
All programs under Summer College for High School Students are for-credit courses. For high school students to earn college credit for the course[s] they attend and to secure housing and meal plan for their stay, the University must bill the student for those respective charges. Current rates are shown in the tables on this webpage.
Students selected to attend a short-term course which has a reduced or no cost will receive a scholarship to reduce their cost of attendance. The following short-term courses have a reduced or no cost of attendance for Summer 2025 (see descriptions on the short-term course page for more details):
- AgDiscovery
- Building the Next Generation of Engineering Leaders in Construction Engineering
- Cargill-Purdue Agribusiness Science Academy
- Code Explorers
- CyberSafe Heroes
- Developing Tomorrow's Infrastructure: An Introduction to Civil Engineering
- Empowering Women in Business
Fees start being assessed to students’ accounts at the start of April and will continue to be assessed until there is a charge for each of the following items:
- General Service Tuition Fees
- Non-residential Tuition Fees (only for students classified as non-residential or international students)
- Summer Room Plan
- Summer Meal Plan
Scholarships will be entered in May/June. Once those have been processed, you will see a credit pending toward your balance due on your account. Please note: The United States Department of Education regulates that scholarship funding can only post to a student's account 10 days before the class start date.
If you anticipate receiving a scholarship and happen to receive a check or financial aid refund, please refrain from cashing any checks received or spending the money until you verify that all charges have posted to your student account as outlined above. The money may have been sent before all charges were added to your student account and could result in a balance due.
Please refer to the Office of the Bursar for the primary source of tuition/costs.
